Description
Join The National WWII Museum for a free teacher webinar exploring how editorial cartoonists throughout history have captured perspectives on the events and issues of their time through humor, satire, symbolism, and artistic skill.
Participating teachers will explore the life and work of WWII cartoonist Bill Mauldin and learn about the Museum's special exhibition Drawn to Combat: Bill Mauldin and the Art of War. Educators will also discover strategies for using and analyzing editorial cartoons, comics, and other visual media as primary sources in the classroom and leave with curricula, and Museum resources.
